What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Phinas Blye and Rev. Spikes have in common?  They are among the fine upstanding citizens of Tuna, Texas, in this hilarious send up of small town mores where it’s okay to laugh at the people we love.

It’s a typical Tuna day: where Bertha Bumiller continues her quest to ban Romeo and Juliet from the Tuna library...her daughter Charlene stews over yet another rejection by the high school cheerleading squad...Petey Fisk takes to the airwaves to find homes for homeless ducks...radio station owner Leonard Childers urges townspeople to reject rock ‘n’ roll (except “good old Southern boy” Elvis Presley”...Vera Carp leads a meeting of the Smut Snatchers of the New Order in the absence of the Rev. Spikes...and the question on everyone’s lips is, how did Judge Roscoe Buckner die, and why was he wearing a Dale Evan’s swimsuit?

GREATER TUNA is a funny, loving portrait of rural America...big hearts, small minds and all! Once you’ve had a taste of Tuna, no other town will whet your appetite for comedy quite like it!

Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna -- men, women, children and animals.
